Hi after a very long time!

Hello,

I haven't been on blogger for a very long time and a lot has happened. Last week I went on a holiday to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands near Spain and had a great time. I met two lovely girls one called Alice aged 6 and the other called Holly aged 10.

On the first day me and my mum unpacked our things and searched around the resort, when we got back to our apartment (yellow) I asked my mum if I could go and sit by the pool and read (I didn't want to get in as it was freezing). While I was sat by the pool, a girl came down and said hello to me, this was Alice. She called her mum and asked if she could get in the pool, she was very brave. A while later my mum came down and said hello to Alice's mum and started to do what mums do... CHAT! I started to get a bit braver and put my book down and started to paddle in the pool just with my feet walking along the little ledge. A bit later another girl came over to say hello this was Holly, she was a lot braver then me and got straight into the pool with all of her clothes on (her apartment had mould on the ceiling and they hadn't unpacked as they were going to move apartments the next day). I went up to the apartment and put my swimming cossie on. Me, Holly and Alice stayed in the pool for about 1 1/2 hours and then tea was ready. So we had a shower and got changed so that we could go down to the hall for tea.

It was a whole buffet, 5 trays of meat and rice and stuff like that and then another 5 trays of salad, and then if that wasn't enough there was a whole freezer of ice cream, trays of cakes and profiteroles and bowls of jelly. I could get used to this life! After a very large tea me, mum, Alice, Alice's mum Julie and her dad John went up to the bar/lounge and had a few drinks and a chat. I spent 2 euros on a machine that you put money in and little toy winnie the poohs dressed up came out (they were soooo cute).

For the next 2 days life was pretty similar. Me swimming, mum chatting and NO sun. We also went down to the main town called Caleta De Fuste it was very clean and friendly (not like our town.) On the path that you had to follow along the sea, there were lots of cute little chipmunks. We thought it was a strange place for chipmunks to live but we soon found out it was because people were bulldozing chipmunk mountain and the chipmunks fled down to the seafront.

On the 4th day the sun actually came out and me and Holly made the most of the sun and went into the pool for 2 hours. BIG MISTAKE!!!! I was so totally loving my time in the pool that when mum called me out to have more suncream on i said, i only needed it on the top of my arms, on my legs and on my shoulders as my arms were in the water. I also didn't wear a hat or a bandanna so my head got burnt and my neck. Later on after lunch, me and mum walked down to Caleta De Fuste to have a look around the shops to try and find me some total sunblock, aloe Vera and after sun spray as I was so burnt. On the way back I began to feel really ill and wanted to stop every now and then to have a breather, I just plugged myself into my Mp3 player and concentrated on getting back. (This day Alice and her parents went home)

When we got home mum went down to tea and I stayed upstairs because i felt REALLY sick. I had got sun stroke. Holly had caught it as well and we both felt terrible, mum was really worried about me and at 1:30am she went to the bar/lounge to send a mass email out, asking people to pray for me. For the next 2 days all I did was eat toast, read and sleep. It was really unusual for me! On our 2nd to last day me and Holly started to feel a lot better and we stayed in my apartment sharing our ds games.

That night it was the karaoke in the bar and me and Holly went because we felt a lot better and it was my last night so we went to spend some time together. My mum, me, Holly, Leanne (Holly's mum) and Tony (her dad) all went and sat together having a laugh and joke. It was a brilliant night and her dad and my mum sang songs. Her dad (also kown as peppa pig) actually sang 3 songs!!!! I had a great time and the bar man called Andreas was really nice to me and kept telling jokes. When we got outside we got someone to take a picture of me, Holly, Leanne, Tony and mum by the pool then we went up to our room and had a vey nice sleep.

The next day it was the last day for me and mum and we were going home that day. We had our breakfast and then we went up to Hollys room for a few pictures and some more time together. At 11:30am me and mum left in a taxi for the airport, it was sad to go home but actually quite nice because I was going to see my dad and Kiefer.

I had a brilliant holiday and met some wonderful people.

It has been a long time since I last blogged. I am now 10 and have had a lot happen. I prayed for a boy with a rash and it went within 2 days. I swam 2 metres without a float (that is a lot for me). I have got a sore throat at the moment so I am not allowed to sing, shout or whisper. My little Brother is going to be 2 in 6 days it seems like only yesterday he was a baby and he has started to say Ashleigh but prefers to call me sister. I am writing a story in school with 6 climaxes!!!!!! I am going to move house again in about 6 weeks back to Kingswood.

I am now back at school woo hoo I am not having to sit at home and be bored. I have just started to do the Tuders in school for my history topic, it is quite interesting finding out about Britain 300-400 years ago. I walked to school to school in the rain this morning so my waterproof coat was dripping all the rain onto my knees so I had to change into my P.E trousers well have to go to bed now.

I am now on Easter holidays so I am able to play out with my friends more and also able to read and check on me and my Mums sunflower every so often. I have to go to the doctors now with my Mum to take Kiefer for a injection.
